These are people that we have met along the way.  

They all have great adventures to tell.

Ashley rode from Bellingham, WA to Sacramento, CA she is a great writer and we traveled together for about a week.  I definitely recommend checking out her blog!

We met at Panamint Springs in Death Valley.  He is cycling solo from Arizona to San Francisco, up to Vancouver and then back through the middle of the states to Texas.

Jan Dirk Van Het Wout and Fred Verkuil              CVC_3395http://home.ict.nl/~jan-wout/   and http://northamericaadventure.blogspot.com    Two Dutch Cyclists we ran into near Bishop, CA.  They are extremely seasoned bicycle tourists and have cycled many places in the world.  They were currently on their third North American tour from Las Vegas NV to Barstow, AK.  They have completed many tours in different parts of the world.       
  2. Nico & Amelia – www.precaritetouristique.wordpress.comCVC_3347Two French Cyclists.  They worked in Canada for the winter before setting out to cycle from San Francisco to Quebec.  On the way they met Cassandra (currently living in Santa Cruise) who cycled with them for a little over a week before heading back to Santa Cruise.

Graeme, Julio & Elliot      hiker gram hiker 1hikergrant endkaliyuga.wordpress.com and http://stillmoreglorious.blogspot.com           These  guys are not actually cycling across the US they are walking!  We met them twice along the way in North Fork and in Death Valley and possibly will again.  Their blogs are interesting and have some great photography.   4. Anita and Dirk – http://www.biciklo.de/                         Dirk photot A German couple we met in Oregon.  They have cycled from Alaska to the tip of South America as well as many places in Europe.  Their blog is in German but you can translate it using Google Chrome.
  5. Patrick Pohl – http://www.leezenpower.de/                         leezen Another German who has cycled the world, his blog will also need to be translated by google Chrome if your German needs some work.
  6. Kial – http://mynameiskial.wordpress.com – I met this guy in Northern California.  He has toured a fair amount in the states.
  7. Gordon – http://bikesocial.blogspot.com                            gordon This guy is not touring but runs a bike blog with a lot of great info about cycling.  I met him in Central California
  8. Argentinian Guy – http://www.bicinator.com.ar/                    argentinian We met this guy cycling in Joshua Tree National Park.  I cant remember his name but hes on a cool adventure down through Central America.  His blog is in Spanish.
  9. Jorge – http://www.biciviajero.es                                             jorge This guy we met near Santa Barbara, he was on his way to South America where he has toured extensively.  His blog is also in Spanish.
